Review on Resorts with My Baby
First time we bring Arik to a holiday is when he turns 3 months old. Short distance is the best key for a baby/ toddler that cries a lot. I mean a lot, with screams haha. That was my son, previously (also my down time a.k.a having postpartum depression). But now Alhamdulillah, he's the happiest, joyous, cheeky, healthy and clever boy ever. And i'm a very happy mother too.
After having Arik, we're very choosy with the place to stay. First, for his comfort. Second, i'm avoiding all of the bad possible things that might happens to him. Third thing is if he ever gets sick, we are the ones who will be worried, sad all the time (i will cry in the middle of the night guys, such a hati tisu person), and stay up all night long with his cries. Definitely no.
We read on Trip Advisor website which helps a lot. Some hotels got so many flies? Possibility to get food poisoning. yes we avoid that. We even look at the hotel's furniture, just to avoid Arik from bumping his head. Hotels with sharp furniture will be out from the list.
I'm not like this before haha. Last time, i can do backpacker travel, stay in decent hotels. Sleeping inside the tree house! Hiking with all my heart out. After becoming a mother, well things change. I'm changing too. 😅
We brought him to Port Dickson which is the nearest place for us at that time. So we try Thistle PD. It was the first time Arik meets the beach. It was nice, short and i appreciate it so much.
They have private beach which is great for family. The pools facing the beach are outstanding. The beach however is not as pretty like in Langkawi. But overall is ok. 😊 They have large field for sports, and lots of outdoor facilities on the field too.

2. Pulai, Johor
Kids love pools don't they. I love watching Arik in pools but i'm very particular about it too. We never let him swim without the float. We never let him taste the water. Let's be real guys. The pool water, with the chlorine, pees, maybe a little bit of poops? Maybe one day in the future, he might learn how to swim. But not now. Not when the little body is still adapting to his surroundings.

Photo taken in Pulai Springs, Johor. Another short vacay. Didn't have enough time to finish pumping the float, this little guy just can't wait to try the pool. 😂 This resort was amazing. I love it so much. Architecturally, this place was design beautifully with the tropical theme. The spa was nice too. The picture below showed the exact spa room that i've tried. I think this is the best resort i've been in Johor.

3. Bukit Tinggi, Pahang
Next we try Berjaya Hill Golf and Country Resort, in Bukit Tinggi. It was just ok but we love the privacy. Not many people here unlike at the hotel in Colmar Tropicale. You can get free ride any time to go Colmar. We went there at night just to buy some drinks and breads. Arik got the big pool all for himself. Like i said, it's like nobody here. 😂 Personally, i won't bring Arik here again because nothing much to do here except the pool and the cool breeze with the amazing view of the golf field of course. The breakfast is just ok.

4. Nilai,Negeri Sembilan
We've tried Nilai Springs (Negeri Sembilan) pool too. We came here almost every month 😍 They have various kid's pools and large field to run (japanese grass) which i love. The weather is always nice here. Never sunny, always windy.

5. Kuala Lumpur
Trying Royale Chulan KL and Royale Chulan Penang. Both was nice. Kl branch is more to traditional, modern contemporary design, even for the room decor. The pool is just nice, facing all the skyscrapers in Kl. The breakfast was awesome.

6. George Town, Penang
Penang branch was more to British modern design, including the room too. The breakfast was awesome. The pool is small, so we didn't go there at that time.
7. Seberang Jaya, Penang
9. Taiping, Perak
Who knows Taiping got this awesome hotel? Novotel
Decided to follow hubby for few days work. We discover this place. The room is nice. Breakfast was awesome. Nice pool and the average mall is just besides the building.
10. Ipoh, Perak
The Haven Resort. It's very relaxing here. You will get a fantastic view of the lake from the balcony. Huge pool with tropical landscape theme. I love this place so much. The smallest room comes with a huge kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and spacious living room. Looks like an apartment to me. But it's amazing. Breakfast was so delicious. I love the cheese omelette.
I had a video montage of this resort, but i cannot share it here. Too much of my family privacy in there hehe.

Another stay at The Light in Penang. Room is nice and the breakfast too. The little boy, of course wants to try the pool 😂
7. Genting Highlands, Pahang
Next Genting Highlands. ❤ We came here just to feel the cooling temperature haha.
Awana Genting Highlands. Huge bedroom. The smallest room comes with two queen beds. Awesome golf field view with chill wind. Breakfast is not that nice. Just ok to fill your tummy. Free ride from the resort, from morning till night time with bus, to Genting Premium Outlet.
8. Melaka
Let's go to Melaka ❤. Trying Hatten, a very pretty hotel, with huge bedroom. We stay here just for a short time, to visit Zoo Melaka 😊 and eat yummy dim sum at Ramada Plaza. Very delicious, i love it so much.
